Activity and Exercise




 Active 10 - NHS app or website to encourage 10 minute sessions of brisk walking. It is a great place to start!




 Couch to 5km - Easy to follow and very flexible for people with busy lifestyle.  Includes a few strengthening exercises to work on whilst increasing your distance.




Parkrun - 100's of free 5km runs every week on Saturday morning. Just register on the website and bring your barcode along to the race and you will be given and official time afterwards.  In the local area we have Colchester Castle Park, Clacton, Harwich, Mersea Island, Ispwich Christchurch Park and Felixstowe.  All abilities are welcome.
