Harry Walden Colchester Soccability : 8 March 2014

Soccability League Match Report 8th March 2014

Clacton H4L A Squad:

Peter Britton
Greg Lark (c)
Tom Nicks
Harry Walden
Ronnie Holloway
Jordan Ovenden
Luke Thomas

Clacton didn't have a great tournament result-wise but despite not doing very well in the tournament
they played very well as a team, with the whole squad putting all their effort towards the games and
maintaining a positive attitude. Tom Nicks and Ronnie Holloway were back after missing the
January tournament, but Neil Johnson was unable to make this one.

Basildon A. H4L 2-0 Basildon

Clacton have a good record against Basildon, who are probably the weakest team in the Premiership.
Clacton got an automatic 3-0 victory in the previous tournament as Basildon didn't attend.
Clacton dominated this game and won with 2 easy goals from Luke and goalkeeper Peter not
being troubled.

Tendring Mental Health. Tendring 2-1 H4L. Harry

Whilst Basildon are probably the weakest Premiership team, Tendring are without a doubt the
strongest and will almost certainly be the champions. Clacton beat them 1-0 in January,
but went behind early on. Harry managed to get an equaliser for Clacton, only for Tendring
to find a winner.

Disability 4 Sport D4S 1-0 H4L

Clacton had won 2-0 in January but lost this tournament. After going behind they tried all they
could to find an equaliser, but were unable to find the back of the net.

Colchester H4L A. 0-0

In the January tournament Clacton had Dave Ashmore from Colchester in their squad as they
were a player down but today Dave was back with Colchester. A shot from Dave in this
tournament hit the underside of the crossbar and was stopped on the line by Peter.
Colchester appealed for a goal, but the referee didn't give it. In the dying seconds of the game
Tom Nicks nearly snatched a winner for Clacton, but had his shot blocked and the game
ended goalless.
