It was the first season that the FA Disability Cup had been launched, and Healthy 4 Life were representing Essex in the tournament. Effectively though they were representing the whole of Anglia, as none of the other Anglian counties had teams taking part in the tournament. Healthy 4 Life received a bye in the first round after their opponents had pulled out of the competition. Albion had also received a bye in the first round. This was a very special game for many of the players as tracksuits with the Healthy 4 Life badge had recently been purchased for the cup which the players could buy from Healthy 4 Life, they had only played in a few 11 a-side games, the  friendlys  that Healthy 4 Life had started having and the only player who had played in a competitive 11 a-side game was skipper Greg. Some research had been done on Albion and their league statistics suggested that they were a very weak side. They also didn't have much 11 a-side experience as they had only played 1, which they recently lost. Healthy 4 Life had played 4, one of which was against a non-disabled team which they narrowly lost and won the 3 others, which were against other disabled teams. The majority of the players had played in all the games, and a few had also played in a 6 a-side friendly against the fire fighters 3 days earlier. However, Healthy 4 Life knew that you must never take something for granted and treated them as if they were Clacton United under 18s.

Match Report Healthy 4 Life got kick-off and the game got underway. Healthy 4 Life were soon playing slightly better than Albion. Although there were a lot of foul throws from both sides which continued throughout the game, Healthy 4 Life were creating more and slightly better chances - although the shooting of both sides was poor with most shots well off target, Healthy 4 Life were sheepherding Albion's attempts out for goal-kicks and getting more chances close to the goal, Albion conceded several corners. After Healthy 4 Life had made a few attempts, they opened the scoring but the goal was rather scrappy. Luke got the ball closer to the goal line, but his attempt was low and the Albion keeper almost saved it so the ball only just crossed the line. Soon after that Healthy 4 Life won a free kick just outside Albion's penalty area. Greg took it as he has a very powerful shot on him, and found the back of the net to double the lead. However, there weren't any more goals before the break. HT Score-line: Albion in the Community 0 - 2 Football Healthy 4 Life FC   At half time all the Healthy 4 Life players knew they had to find more goals as 2-0 lead at half-time was not enough as Albion still had 45 minutes to equalise, and if the scores were level at the end of the game it would go into extra time. Sam Ingram came on for Tom Nicks at half-time. Steven Risley had also come on for Steven Harris during the first half. Although it wasn't rolling subs, teams could use all their substitutes, not just 3. It took very little time to take Healthy 4 Life to find a goal in the second half. Joe, playing as left midfield, passed the ball into the box very close to the goal line which caused an Albion defender to put the ball into his own net making it a 3-0 lead. This probably effected the morale of the Albion players. Minutes before when Albion were about to kick off the second half, their manager had said to them the next goal was very important because of course if it went to Albion they would only be 1 goal behind, but if they conceded it they would stand very little chance of winning. Ronnie came on for Joe and Alex for Johnny, and Jordan soon got goal to his name then Luke a second goal from outside the box. However, once Healthy 4 Life had a 5-0 lead they probably relaxed a bit because Albion scored their first goal. Jordan soon restored Healthy 4 Life's 5 goal lead but Albion soon found another. With the game drawing to a close, Luke crossed the ball into the box and happened to find the back of the net, completing his hat-trick. Final
