Continence Clinics

Continence Clinics provide assessment and conservative (non-surgical) treatment for bladder problems in women such as urgency and/or frequency of passing urine, getting up at night, urge and/or stress incontinence. The service works with the local hospital consultants and physiotherapists to provide a full service for female incontinence. Clinics also provide assessment and conservative treatment for faecal (bowel) incontinence for men and women and teaching intermittent self-catheterisation for men and women with incomplete bladder.
