Anglian Community Enterprise (ACE) Community Interest Company, was created as a stand alone organisation on 1st January 2011.

A Community Interest Company is the legal form of a Social Enterprise.

  • Develop a culture of staff, service user and community involvement.
  • Staff will own the organisation by becoming shareholders, not for monetary dividends but to influence decision making
  • Re- invest any surplus into developing services and supporting the local community around health and well-being
  • Maintain the same public sector values as the NHS    

 

As an employer we offer the following benefits:  

  • Minimum of 27 days annual leave (pro-rata for part time staff), increasing to 29 days after 5 years service and 33 days after 10 years service
  • 8 Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part time staff)
  • For the majority of our contracts staff can pay into the NHS Pension Scheme. For staff who are not eligible to pay into the NHS Pension Scheme, we offer NEST as our alternative pension scheme (the employee pays 6% and we pay 9% of salary)
