Community Rehabilitation

The Community Rehabilitation Service for North East Essex provides assessments and treatments for patients in their place of residence. 

The service is a short term service offering multifactorial assessment and intervention.

The services include:  Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Falls Prevention.  

The aim of treatment is to improve functional ability,  reduce falls or fear of falls, promote independence and encourage self-management through the provision of exercises and equipment.

The service is provided to the adult population for North East Essex.

Where is the service provided from?
A range of locations across North East Essex.

How do you access the service?
Referrals are accepted from Social Care, hospital medical staff, nurses and GPs via the Community Gateway. The Falls Service also accepts self referrals.
