Most recently she has been interim Chief Executive of Keystone
Development Trust as well as a Non-Executive Director of East of England
Ambulance Service NHS Trust. She also
led the National Stakeholder Forum for the Asset Transfer Unit from 2009 until
Lynne Woodcock - Managing Director
Lynne started her career as a Nurse and then went on to train as
a midwife and health visitor. Lynne has held a number of Board level posts and
has managed services in a wide range of settings, including community, mental
health and learning disabilities across the country. Lynne is a dedicated and focused leader who has
successfully led North East Essex Provider Services from the PCT to its own
Social Enterprise from 1 January 2011 – Anglian Community Enterprise (ACE)
Community Interest Company.
Sharon Charlton - Director of Finance and Corporate Services
Sharon is a CIPFA qualified accountant with over 20 years
experience within the NHS. She has worked in a variety of roles on both
provider and commissioning including two Director of Finance roles. Sharon
is a very capable Director who has a good eye for the details and is focused on
the enterprise development. She has been very involved with the development of
the financial model and will be responsible for the overall finances of ACE.
Jayne is a Registered Nurse by background and has worked in a
variety of health care settings but exclusively in primary and community care
for the past 20 years. Over the past 10 years Jayne has held senior management
positions for ACE and predecessor PCT organisations taking responsibility for
the management of three APMS practices, two Community Hospitals and a number of
community based services including community nurses and matrons and specialist
Paul is a chartered accountant and has extensive experience of working at Commercial and Finance Director level positions in both the private and public sector, including most recently 7 years in the NHS.
Anne started her career as a nurse in 1980 and has extensive
senior management and board level experience in acute, community and out of
hospital settings leading onto becoming a Director of Nursing and Quality,
commissioning GP and community led services.
David is a chartered accountant and has extensive experience of
finance and economics in the private and public sectors. After 10 years in
accounting and banking in the private sector, David was a senior civil servant
with the Department of Health. He then moved onto the HM Treasury where he
focused on public private partnerships in health and, most recently, on the
government’s Transforming Community Services programme.
After leaving school, Lawrie spent five years working at the
Mercury Theatre in Colchester as a stage manager. He then joined the Fire
Service, where he spent most of his career on the front line, finishing his
thirty years service working in Community Safety. He now works part time in the
local Library. Lawrie has been a local Councillor, sitting on both
Tendring District Council as well as Harwich Town Council. He is Chair of
Governors of Harwich Community Primary School as well as chairing Tendring Sure
Start Children’s Centres.
